There was a free screening of the film I.O.U.S.A. November 18th at Areo Theatre in Santa Monica/ Following the film, there was a panel discussion with our President Shay Olivarria! We would like to thank everyone that attended the screening.

Community Day Saturday, December 6th
Community Day is a free event in the Leimert Park area. Entertainment, food, music, and vendors will be on hand from Noon to 6pm. Bring your friends, family, and self to celebrate the community.
Community Day was insprired by Vanessa Butler's need to shoot a community event for her film Beautiful Tears. She decided to create a real community event instead of a staged event because she is invested in inspiring the community to work together. Since the film will be shot that day using extras from the community, anyone attending the event will be asked to sign a waiver so that thier image may be included in the film.
